DIGITAL DESIGN STUDIO · BANGLA ROOTS, GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
Digital experiences,thoughtfully woven.
BUNON shapes brand identities, brand guidelines and websites for businesses that would rather be remembered than noticed.
THE STUDIO
Where tradition inspires the future.
We are a small, senior studio working at the meeting point of heritage and technology. Our work begins with a point of view and ends with something you can open, touch and use.
Brand identity, guidelines, interface design and engineering are woven together under one roof, so your brand feels the same on a business card and in a browser.
- Strategy firstEvery identity begins with a point of view. We define what you stand for before we decide how you look.
- One system, everywhereLogo, type, colour, motion and code are designed together, so nothing feels borrowed.
- Built by those who designed itDesign and engineering share a table. What you approve is what ships.
WHAT WE DO
Two threads. One cloth.
Warp the structure that holds
Strategy, identity and guidelines: the quiet architecture beneath every brand worth keeping.
Weft the movement that carries
Interface, motion and code: how a brand is felt, one considered touch at a time.
THE ARCHIVE
Selected work, held to the light.

A new story, still on the loom.
Unveiling soon
Sealed until the day it launches.
THE METHOD · FOUR MOVEMENTS
Understand
We listen until the brief becomes a point of view. Goals, audience, competitors, constraints: nothing is designed before it is understood.
Define
Strategy is the loom. We set positioning, structure and principles first, so beauty has something to stand on.
Design
Every decision earns its place. Nothing is decorative; everything is considered, tested and refined.
Build
We engineer what we design, so what you approved is exactly what ships, and stays fast, accessible and easy to run.
PRINCIPLES
Four principles, kept quietly.
- Clarity
- In every word and design.
- Intention
- In every detail.
- Confidence
- Without excess.
- Human
- In every collaboration.

Aranya
A retreat identity and website shaped by shade, stone and stillness. Aranya is a concept project that shows our process end to end.
The brief
A place that feels like an exhale. The identity needed to be as calm as the retreat: grounded, tactile and never loud.
The approach
We built a language from arches, soft light and natural texture. The mark is quiet, the palette is drawn from stone and moss, and the type leaves room to breathe.
The result
A complete brand guideline and a responsive website that carry one idea from the logo to the booking flow, built to load fast and read well in any light.
THE SYSTEM
Stone, shade and brass.

Brand, design & build.
Four disciplines, one studio. We design the identity, document it, design the interface and build the website, so every part belongs to the same cloth.
QUESTIONS
Good to know.
How long does a brand identity project take?
Most identity projects take six to ten weeks, from first conversation to final guidelines. Larger systems, naming or multi-market rollouts take longer. We give a fixed timeline once we understand the scope.
Do you design and build the website yourselves?
Yes. Design and development sit in one studio, so nothing is lost in a handover. What you approve in design is what we build.
Can you work in Bengali and English?
Yes. We design bilingual brand systems, pairing Bengali and Latin typography with care for weight, size and rhythm, and we build sites that serve both scripts properly.
What do you need from us to begin?
A short conversation about your business, your audience and what you want to change. Existing brand material helps, but it is not required.
Do you work with clients outside Bangladesh?
Yes. BUNON is rooted in Bangla heritage and built for a global audience; we work with clients in any time zone.

Bangla roots, global perspective.
BUNON is a digital design studio rooted in Bangla heritage, guided by modern thinking and built for a global audience.
THE NAME
বুনন“Bunon” is the Bengali word for weaving. Like traditional Bengali textiles, our work is made of many fine threads (strategy, identity, design, code) held together so tightly that you only see the cloth.
It is also how we work: patiently, with attention to the whole, and with respect for craft. The pattern on this site, the warp and weft, is our own idea of a brand system.
PRINCIPLES
How we think.
- Clarity
- In every word and design.
- Intention
- In every detail.
- Confidence
- Without excess.
- Human
- In every collaboration.
BILINGUAL BY DESIGN
Two scripts, one voice.
Many brands that serve Bengali-speaking audiences are designed in Latin first and adapted later. We design both scripts together, with attention to weight, size, line spacing and rhythm.

What belongs in a brand guideline (and what doesn’t)
BUNON · Brand guidelines · 6 min read · 22 October 2026
Start with the idea, not the logo
A guideline should open with the thing everything else depends on: what the brand stands for and how it speaks. Rules about logos make sense only once the idea is clear.
The essentials
Every useful guideline covers the story and positioning, the logo system with clear space and minimum sizes, colour with tested, accessible pairings, typography with a clear hierarchy, voice and tone, imagery direction, and real applications.
What to leave out
Rules nobody will follow. If a restriction cannot be explained in one sentence, it probably does not belong. Brevity is a form of respect for the reader.
Make it a living document
Deliver the guide digitally, with downloadable assets and design tokens for your developers, and name an owner. A guideline that is never updated quietly becomes a museum piece.

Designing Bengali and Latin type together
BUNON · Typography · 5 min read · 22 October 2026
Match weight and colour first
Start by choosing faces whose stroke weight and texture feel related. A light Latin face beside a heavy Bengali one will read as two brands.
Expect different sizes
Bengali often needs a slightly larger size than Latin to feel equal on the page, and more generous line height to give its marks room. Set both in context, never in isolation.
Do not letter-space Bengali
Letter-spacing can break the connections inside conjunct characters. Keep tracking at zero for Bengali text, and apply any tracking only to the Latin.
Test real words
Set real headlines, long conjuncts and numerals, on real screens. A dependable family such as Noto Sans Bengali is a good fallback while the identity font is finalised.
This is how we approach every brand identity for bilingual audiences.
Let’s create something meaningful.
Tell us where you are and where you want to be. We reply within two working days.
What to include
Your name and business, what you need (identity, guidelines, website), your timeline, and anything that inspires you. A few lines are enough.
